Lindos

The small fishing village of Lindos is located on the east coast of Rhodes Island and is popular as an archaeological site. A perfect blend of history and beaches, Lindos mediaeval village boasts small white-washed houses situated conveniently on the hilltop. The village is also known for its 16th-century captain houses, which are an absolute throwback to history.

The cobbled streets of Lindos are pedestrianised, and the commute can be done through donkeys and mopeds. Its proximity to Rhodes makes it a perfect day trip either from Rhodes town or Faliraki. Exploring the Acropolis, getting lost in the cobweb of cobbled streets and exploring the village’s backstreets are some of the best activities to partake in. Lindos boasts several roof gardens where one can witness sunset while taking a break or having dinner.
